ENG Contracting formed to serve government and public-sector facility owners

TEXAS, September 22, 2026. ENG Contracting LLC announced today its formation as a government and public-sector facilities contractor. The veteran-owned company is headquartered in Texas, with offices in Austin, Dallas, Edinburg, and Houston and a Washington office in Washington, DC, and is structured to deliver facility support, repair, renovation, modernization, construction, and building systems work for federal, State of Texas, and public institutions.

ENG is led by founder Michael Gonzalez, who serves as President and Managing Member. "Government facilities carry a maintenance and renewal backlog that grows every year, and the buildings stay open while it gets worked," Gonzalez said. "ENG was formed to be the contractor a facility manager calls when the work has to happen around the mission. We are built to perform our own scope, to show up prepared, and to finish."

The company organizes its work into three markets: Defense and National Security, Civilian and Public Sector, and Health and Medical. Its founding focus is the Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers and clinics of Texas. ENG is structured to serve as a prime contractor on facility support, task order, and small-project work, as a general contractor where a project calls for one, and as a subcontractor or teaming partner to prime contractors on larger federal and State of Texas projects.

"Veterans keep their word to one another," Gonzalez said. "The name of the company, Earned. Never Given., is a commitment to the facility staff and the people in those buildings that we will earn every task order on the last one."

ENG's safety program adopts the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 safety manual and its quality control framework adopts three-phase control, on every project regardless of owner. The company is opening registration for trade contractors and suppliers across Texas, with a standing invitation to veteran-owned, minority-owned, women-owned, and HUB-certified firms. ENG's applications for federal SDVOSB and Texas VetHUB certification are in process.
