How invitations work
ENG issues bid invitations by email to prequalified, registered firms for the trades and regions that match each project. Public postings are used when the prime contract requires them. The way to see ENG's opportunities is to be registered.
- Invitation
An email from ENG with the project name, owner, location, scope, bid date, and a link to drawings and specifications.
- Pre-bid
A scope walk or call where required, and a single point of contact at ENG for questions. Answers are shared with all invited bidders.
- Bid
A written proposal by the bid date, on ENG's scope sheet, with exclusions and clarifications stated plainly. Late bids are not considered.
- Award
Award on ENG's standard subcontract or purchase order, with the prime contract's flow-down terms, insurance requirements, and schedule.
What every invitation includes
- Owner, project, and location
- Scope of work and trade package
- Drawings, specifications, and addenda
- Wage determination and compliance requirements
- Schedule and phasing constraints
- Bid date, time, and format
ENG's bid opportunities are issued directly to registered firms as projects develop. Register to be prequalified and to receive invitations in your trade and region.
